Like Minded Individuals

Does anyone know of a way to find like minded individuals on Blogger? I seem to be having a bit of trouble with it. My method is time consuming and only I only found one blog that interests me. Maybe this is the only way to do it on blogger. I went to the help section and found nothing so now I am turning to you. What I have been doing is clicking the link that says next blog at the top of my blog but that has to be the least efficient way ever of finding anything you like. So if anyone knows of a better way please do tell.

Wow

It's been months since I last posted anything new on here. I'm amazed that I even remembered my password. It's interesting to see that my last post was about me starting school and not having time to blog about anything. Well it's that time of year again August 16th is the day I go back to school. I loved my summer break, I really enjoyed not having to do anything. It feels like I haven't had enough of a summer break.

The school year went well for me. I am proud of myself because I did well. My biggest problem still is procrastination. It's a tough obstacle to overcome. I really need to work on that. I loved the drawing class that I took in the fall, it helped me get back into things. I really should draw more though. I haven't sketched anything since then which is really sad now that I think of it. Art was something that I always needed in my life. It was my pass time. I was always sketching and now nothing. It's like what happened? I think I need to find a way for me to feel that way about art again. I want that "need" that I used to have for art. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy art very much, I love looking at it and sit in awe of what people do but for some reason I can't get myself to create. I feel I have created obstacles for myself, self made obstacles I can't seem to get over. Maybe one day I will feel like that again.

Trying out new things

I just thought I'd share my experience with you. Yesterday I tried out the google tool where you can translate a page. Naturally I chose my own blog to translate. I translated it from English to Spanish. I give this tool an F because if someone tried it actually believing it's going to work there in for a big surprise. Well they may not know it. I don't recommend any of those sites that translate phrases unless you understand the language you are translating from and to because if you are using it for school or work there is a great possibility that it will be WRONG! I've tried it so many times if I didn't know both Spanish and English I would have gotten so many things wrong for school. The translation tools translate phrases literally, the thing is that in Spanish or in any other language it may not mean the same thing.

So when I translated my blog extra words were added that weren't even there and none of my sentences made sense. An occasional two words put together made sense maybe a little more. I don't really remember because I did this yesterday. I was curious to see how it would look and now I know.

Hi Everyone

My first post is going to be an introduction of myself. I'm a quiet and reserved person. When I meet new people I'm shy at first until I get to know the people better. I have a good personality and I like joking around. I'm 22 years old but I feel older :( I have a beautiful baby girl who will be 2 in November. She is quite a handful.

I enjoy all kinds of different activities, especially going outdoors. I like swimming,hiking and just sitting under the trees. I especially like tubing it's so much fun and scary at the same time. You have to hold on tight unless you want to get thrown in the water.

I listen to all kinds of music. I give everything a chance. I like to draw and paint. Lately I've been more into crafting. I will be posting a video of some things I have made and have for sale.

This blog is going to be mostly about showing my art and crafts. I hope you enjoy my creations and my style.
