I was listening to the news this morning and around 7 a.m. or earlier I hear Bernie Mac has died. I immediately got out of bed. For those of you who don't know who he is, he was a comedian and actor. So I get out of bed thinking no way how could he die, it's fake he's so young. He had been hospitalized for a while, which I didn't know, because of pneumonia. So that's what he died from. I'm still shocked and I can't believe it. I was just watching his show 2 days ago. Wow I just really am surprised. I'm also sad as well. I just can't believe it. All the best for his family.
On another note, an American tourist was killed in Beijing. It's so sad that on what is supposed to be a great start to the Olympics has been marked by tragedy. It pisses me off that someone would do that. Not because he was American but because this is supposed to be a happy event for the whole world. I would have been just as upset if it had happened to someone else from another country.
Another important thing in current events is RUSSIA at war. It's crazy. It seems so like wow it's unbelievable they're at war. It's just like the feeling I got when I saw Afghanistan getting bombed when I was in high school. War is just not the answer. I don't like war. I don't believe in killing someone to gain something. It just isn't me. I just hope something happens so it stops.
